  • Dress comfortably, we will be outdoors. Keep in mind photos & videos will be captured to use for future events.

  • Restroom and a water station are available inside the Cultural Arts Center.

  • Bring a reusable water bottle

  • If you enjoy journaling, bring something to write with

If you are nervous about meeting new people, remember that everyone else is probably feeling similarly. We are coming together with a willingness to learn, a deep sense of self-compassion and a desire to get to know ourselves more fully.

OPTIONAL LUNCH by Bristol Farms Plaza to follow. There is Peet’s Coffee, a Thai restaurant, and a great handroll place inside Tokyo Central to grab a bite!

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the workshop.

Your unhurried arrival will allow your nervous system to feel safe and grounded before making new connections.

Ways to take care of yourself before the workshop begins:

  1. Find a wonderful parking spot

  2. Listen to your favorite music in your car

  3. Walk around the space, locate the restroom

  4. Have a breather, ground yourself

  5. Read a book

  6. Journal, doodle

  7. Check in

  8. Say hi to other participants who are there early

  • cultivate new friendships rooted in compassion & integrity.
